Sterling News 2005 - 3rd Quarter In continuing with our commitment towards building vertical sectors within Sterling I am pleased to announce that Jon McGarity has joined Sterling acting as Group President Life Sciences Sector. Jon will focus his efforts in developing business globally within the Life Science’s arena and will be a driving force in shaping the sector within Sterling. Jon’s professional career in the pharmaceutical industry spans three decades and is highlighted by leadership positions throughout the world. He has worked with both large and small companies including Glaxo SmithKline, Glaxo Dermatology, Bristol Myers Squibb and Novartis. He has held positions ranging from the divisional level to corporate responsibilities encompassing the titles of Vice Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President. Currently, Jon sits on a number of Boards and is presently Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Arizona BioIndustry Association for the State of Arizona Jon brings extraordinary depth and expertise in the Life Science and Bioscience industry as we look to make a "Big Push" for business globally and we feel confident we have the muscle within the industry to make a positive impact globally within the Life Science and BioIndustry sectors. Joining Jon within this sector will be Taeko Washimi (USA) as Life Science Sector Advisor regarding all sector business for Japan as well as internationally. Taeko was formerly Japan President for Kendall Medical, a division of Tyco and brings tremendous international experience to the table. With this in mind we have made moves in determining who in each region will be the "Life Science Sector Leader’s" and are pleased to have Mike Beer London, Dan Eggen USA., Robin Tan Singapore, Tad Washimi Japan and Chris Liang China on Sterling’s Life Science sector team.
